KTool Setup on mobile
To install the KTool app on your phone, follow the steps below:
Open the Google Play Store or App Store on your mobile device.
In the search bar, type “KTool” and press enter.
From the search result, select the KTool app.
Click on the Install button. The app will start downloading and installing automatically.
Once the installation is complete, you can launch the app by clicking on the “Open” button.
On the welcome screen, you will be prompted to enter your name, a personal email address (not a Kindle.com email), and a password.
Click on the "Continue" button.
Enter your Kindle email address (@kindle.com)* and click “Next”.
KTool will send a 6-digit code to your registered email address. Retrieve the code from your email and copy-paste it into the requested field in the KTool app. Click "Next" and you are done with the setting up process.
Note: How to know your Kindle email address?
To send content to your Kindle using KTool, you must first know your Amazon Kindle email address and add @ktool.io to your Approved Email Address List.
You can find your Kindle email by logging into your Amazon account and navigating to the "Content and Devices" page. On the left sidebar, click on the "Devices" tab, and select your Kindle device. Your Kindle email address will be displayed along with information about your device.
To whitelist a "@ktool.io" email address, go to the "Content and Devices" page. Click on "Preferences", scroll to "Approved Personal Document Email List” and add "@ktool.io" to the list of approved email addresses.
By following these steps, you will be able to set up your KTool account on your mobile device, allowing you to access all the features and services provided by the app.
Sending
Send to Kindle
Sending articles to your Kindle device using the KTool app is quick and easy. Follow these step-by-step instructions:
Go to the website where the article you want to send is located.
Click on the "Share" button for the article you want to send.
Look for the KTool icon among the selection of sharing options. Click on it.
After clicking on the KTool icon, select the "Send to Kindle" option from the pop-up window.
Your article will now be sent to your Kindle device, and you can access it at any time, even when you are offline.
Send magazines
You can manage your reading list on the KTool app. By tapping on the “Send option”, you can choose “Send now”; or “Add to Daily Read”/ “Add to Weekly Read” to read later. The article will appear in the folder as you wish.
When you want to read on your Kindle, just simply choose the icon on the top right corner and tap “Delivery now”. It will be delivered to your Kindle in a few seconds.
