If you love curating your reading list and want to enjoy a more organized experience on your Kindle, the Magazinesfeature is perfect for you. Instead of sending individual articles to your Kindle, you can bundle them into a magazine and have it delivered on a schedule that suits you.
What is a magazine in KTool?
A magazine in KTool is a collection of articles bundled together into a single, easy-to-read package that’s delivered directly to your Kindle. Instead of sending articles one by one, the Magazines feature allows you to group your favorite content—whether it’s blog posts, news articles, or essays—into a cohesive reading experience, similar to a digital magazine. This is perfect for users who want to batch their reading material and enjoy a curated selection at a specific time, without the hassle of managing individual sends.
KTool Periodicals: Daily or Weekly Delivery
KTool’s Magazines feature lets you set up a delivery schedule for your magazines, ensuring your Kindle is always stocked with fresh reading material. You can choose between two delivery frequencies:
Daily: Receive a new magazine every day at a time you specify. For example, you can set your magazine to deliver at 8 PM every evening, giving you something to read before bed.
Weekly: Prefer a weekly digest? Set your magazine to deliver once a week on a specific day and time, perfect for a weekend reading session.
You can also choose to deliver your magazine immediately by selecting the "Deliver Now" option if you don’t want to wait for the scheduled time.
Custom Magazine
Add a New Magazine: On the left sidebar, under "Custom Magazines," click the "Add a magazine..." button. This will open a form where you can set up your magazine.
Fill in the Details:
Name/Title: Give your magazine a name, like "Daily Tech Reads" or "Weekly News Digest."
Delivery Frequency: Choose how often you want to receive your magazine—daily or weekly. If you select daily, you can set the delivery time (e.g., 8 PM). If you select weekly, you can choose the day of the week and time.
Delivery Mode: Decide whether you want the magazine to be delivered automatically on the schedule you set, or manually.
Add the Magazine: Once you’ve filled in the details, click the "Add" button to save your magazine to your delivery list. You can repeat this process to create as many magazines as you’d like.
Add Articles to Your Magazine:
Using the Browser Extension: While browsing the web, use the KTool browser extension to add articles to your magazine. Simply click the red "K" icon, select "Add to Daily/Weekly Read," and choose the magazine you created.
Import from Links: If you have a list of articles you’d like to add, click the "Import from Links..." button in the Magazines tab. A form will appear where you can paste up to 30 article links (one per line). KTool will fetch these articles and add them to your magazine.
